Duskfall was born during the 5th Age of Darkness of Changeling history. At the time of his birth, the changeling race was near starving. The changelings had, at the time, been evicted from Dragon, Griffon, Buffalo, and Diamond Dog territories. They were running out of sources of which they could feed emotion from. The changeling military was attempting to take control of the Zebra capital of Zevera on the Southern Continent.
However, due to political turmoil back in the changeling homeland, T'rahk Enox, magical power for troops in Zebrica was not sufficiently supplied, and the troops were forced to withdraw from Zebrica in defeat. At the homeland, Chrysalis fought against the House of Gallock for power in T'rahk Enox. In the end, Chrysalis was able to secure power as the Queen of the Changelings. With the change of power, the changeling race had entered what changeling historians are now calling the 6th Age of Turmoil.
By the time Chrysalis has secured her position as Queen, Duskfall had aged 16 years (according to the Western Calendar). As he had learned from the past, Duskfall knew roughly what the Queen's intentions were. Infiltrate a country's capital and attempt to eliminate or assimilate opposing leadership. However, as the past would dictate, Duskfall knew that efforts of this manner would fail like they have for the past 5 Ages.
Days before his 17th birthday, Duskfall fled from T'rahk Enox, and journeyed northeast toward the capital of Equestria.
While traversing the Everfree Forest, Duskfall encountered a zebra refugee, who had fled Zebrica to escape the conflict. Both knew of the recent conflict. For it, the refugee was bitter toward Duskfall, who was desperate to show her that he meant her no harm and was fleeing from his home for the very reason the zebra had. After several months under the wary eye of Zecora, Duskfall resumed his journey. However, before he left, Zecora warned that the Equestrians had been informed of the Changeling attack against the Zebra nation and that changelings would not be held in high regard.
After some consideration, Duskfall changed his destination to the smaller town of Ponyville. Duskfall had also opted to create an alias for himself before exiting the Everfree Forest. Duskfall entered the town still bearing his birth name, but under the guise of an Earth Pony metal/woodworker.
Duskfall maintained his business relatively well and became and integral part of the Ponyville community, secretly soaking friendly emotions from the town. It was his guilty secret. Duskfall aimed to make up for his necessary transgression by tending to the needs of Ponyville within his expertise.
Duskfall caught the eye of Rarity, the town seamstress, after a particularly lonely night at the Ponyville Hearts and Hooves Day dance. Neither were interested in the pursuit of a relationship, but Rarity could not stand seeing the hardworking stallion (changeling) all by himself. Before this, Duskfall never had any real friends, only receiving the emotion from the naturally friendly town. After a fitting session with Rarity (much to his dismay), Duskfall began accompanying Rarity to Whitetail Woods where they would regularly duel each other in archery. Duskfall would become a sharpshooter in mere months.
As Rarity rose slowly on the social ladder, she eventually became too busy to maintain her weekly archery duels with Duskfall. While the two would occasionally chat, Duskfall was, for the most part, left without earnest companionship once more.
One spring afternoon, during a rainstorm which had been accidentally overpowered, Duskfall found himself trapped inside the Ponyville Library with its librarian, Twilight Sparkle. During his entrapment, Duskfall began to become more and more fond of the Librarian mare. When he arrived home the next morning, Duskfall had realized that he had fallen in love with the unicorn mare.
The two grew closer over the next few months. Twilight would be holed up in the library most of time. When Duskfall closed his shop, he would join Twilight in reading some particularly confusing tomes and the occasional fiction story. After working up his courage, and getting corned by her friends, Duskfall confessed his feelings for Twilight Sparkle. To his delighted surprise, his feelings were reciprocated and the two enjoyed a wonderful relationship for the next two years.
Duskfall had finally worked up the courage to propose to Twilight when news of the changeling invasion against Canterlot was released to the public. Overcome with fear that his true nature would be revealed, Duskfall made a gamble and made plans to reveal himself as a Changeling with the notion that better results would emerge if he came clean instead of having his secret dirtily ripped.
The Duskfall entered a state of depression when Twilight Sparkle denounced him. With his life now in ruins, Duskfall took what little he now had and fled southeast, deep into Whitetail Woods. Duskfall built himself a small cottage where he now lives in isolation from the rest of civilization. His only sustenance is a small garden of fruits and vegetables and the love from his pet terrier dog whom he had befriended a month into his exile.
Duskfall has been isolated for an elapsed 3 years. He still does not know that only several months after the invasion of Canterlot, peace had been made between T'rahk Enox and Equestria and that his country had entered the 7th Age of Reclamation.

After an encounter with a changeling/pony couple outside his cottage. Duskfall ventured into civilization once more under a new alias. View Document 081B for details about Duskfall's new alias. After securing raw materials, resources and funds, Duskfall, currently aliased as ██████ ████, founded a private military company named ████████. ████████ currently employs a single regiment of several companies of soldiers. Inquiries indicate a close working relationship directly with the Equestrian leadership. During ████████'s employment with the Equestrian government, ████████ has successfully completed numerous operations. Notable accomplishments include containing a parasitic life form commonly known as ███ █████. ██████ ████ has also restarted his social life amongst the citizens of Ponyville (more specifically, the bearers of the Elements of Harmony). ██████ ████ keeps his past and previous identities a closely guarded secret to avoid backlash. Only his second-in-command, Winter Blue, knows ██████ ████'s true identity.
