nintendo to announce wii u price and release date

nintendo said they will announce it on september 13th at a venue in New York! and actually a bit of trivia in the uk super mario bros 1 came out on that date

For the United States, it's going to be December 18.

The pricing for a regular Wii U will be $300 (That is somewhere in the area of £186 pounds)

The pricing for a premium black Wii U with four times more gigabyte storage will be $350. ( Around £217)

You do have to remember European shipping costs more; so they require more to cover the cost of shipping expense.


You have to be an idiot not to buy the premium Wii U! For an extra $50, you get 400% more storage! I need to consider whether I want to fight the Holiday rush and get it now or wait a few months for an inevitable price drop...

They've yet to announce exactly when Zelda will release. It's just one of those things that will happen some time. Cause it's freaking Zelda.
Personally, Nintendo hasn't given me a good reason to pick up their consoles day one in a long time. I'm happy with my current set up of consoles for now and until something that will blow my mind comes out, I'm waiting on the Wii U.
