Origin of Cadence

Cadence was the child of a scientist from the Planet Kryston. King Sombra, a denizen of the Planet took the city of the Crystal Empire and put it in a bottle. This destabilized the planet and Cadence's parents rocketed her to Equestria where she grew wings and gained powers from Celestia's yellow sun. Unbottling the Crystal Empire in Equestria, Sombra ruled it until being banished. Growing up, Cadence decided to stand for Love, Being Pink, and the Equestrian way! Using the artifact from her homeworld, she defeated King Sombra. But little does she know that fragments of her home world Krystonite will surely kill her.

Also I just love Comics in general. But DC has much more memorable origin stories for their characters. Like "Oh, he got bit by a spider and then his uncle died." and "He got steroids" or "He's a Norse God" aren't as fun as the origins of others. And maybe I wouldn't come up with crackpot theories if they bothered explaining anything.

There's acutely a book about this. A canon book by hasbro. Apparently Cadence was a pegasus given the gift by her knowledge of love.
