I used to be this big-time Pokemon battler who played competitively. Not to bash the competitive Pokemon community, but I found them to be too critical and judgmental. They always had "rules" about why you can't use your favorite Pokemon and items, and put Pokemon into tiers and literally made an essay why they put it there! (The only tier that really mattered was Uber anyways...) It seriously drained my desire of playing Pokemon!
I found the brony fandom, and they kind of took me by storm overnight! They were the complete opposite. They were much more open and unbiased for my taste; and they are part of one of the most evolving fandoms ever to spawn! I ditched my old Youtube and never looked at it ever since! I still have my Pokemon skills, but I rarely use them anymore. I believe I am one of the few (if not, ONLY) brony who plays Pokemon Battle Revolution!
I'd rather have an active fanbase who values me for who I am!
Note*
If a Smogon, Serebii, or Bulbagarden fan sees this, registers and argues about my thoughts about their competitive battling, just remember Pokemon has too much luck and probability to be classified as competitive. It's more for fun!
