I got Team Fortress 2!

Though I can't play online right now, the offline practice mode will help me get used to the game! EEK! I'm excited!

Do you guys have any tips, or anything in general I should know about the game? I would appreciate this, it's my first time playing it.

I'm planning on this to be the very first game series on that channel I'm working on. I'd like to be comfortable with it before we get heavy on it online.

Aww yeah congrats man. Definitly use your time with practice mode to get very familiar with the way each class controls, because each class has different movement speeds and stuff like that. I am no where near a great player but from experience I'd have to say experiment with each class too and figure out what class feels right for your play style.
One last tip.....don't worry about hats.

I'll do that, practice with each one. It would help if I had some experience with each one, so when a situation calls for it, I can switch classes to meet the need on the battlefield. Kinda of like Battlefield 3.

Also, you never know. Some of the classes that I think I wouldn't like, I may really enjoy by just testing them out.
