in case you don't know i love persona and persona 3 was announced to have a movie version in the works for quite some time now and today we finally got our first trailer:
a couple things to notice about the trailer: the title and the fact it says #1 means that there will be multiple movies (similar to LOTR) it looks freaking amazing animation wise
did i miss anything? did you play persona 3? do you know what persona even is? will you watch it? DISCUSS EDIT oh yeah forgot the poster:

I've played every Shin Megami Tensei which has had an American release and a few fan translated ones as well. I've played all the Persona games including the first one, the two duology, the third, the fourth, and Arena. I love it.

May be I don't no. The thing is the favorite part of anime is the comedy that is why I love DG over others (Naruto the first series was also quite funny). I just don't see it here. I want the expanded head sloppily animated for comedic effect. Bu maybe for the other good thing about anime (beside REALY LONG expositions) te rather intense action scenes When they get to them)

@benrowe persona 3 had a gloomy feel about it with death and betrayal and stuff but persona 4 had quite a bit of comedy and there was an anime version of that (you don't need to have watched this though)

What nothing about the ludicrously long expositions that come with most animies?

they weren't really related that much, they took place in the same universe but it was a different cast altogether

what? I was just pointing out that most animies take a very long time just to set the story for an arc, rather than just jumping in.

Untrue. Most of the anime I watch are 50 episodes max. Most are around 25.

well I've watch way to much DB and other long running animies. But I see your point hitalia (does that count) episodes are only like 5-8 minutes a pice.
