Season Three

Good news everypony! I've figured out using logic, something that will ensure that Season 3 is as long as both Seasons 1 & 2!
We currently know that Season 3 is confirmed to have 13 episodes and is rumored to have an overarching storyline.
Also we know that Season 2 had 24 episodes, yet if you count the 2-parters it amounts to 26.
So therefore in order for the overarching storyline to work, all 13 episodes of Season 3 MUST be 2-parters!

#1 There are exactly 13 episodes.
#2 John DeLancie has done voice acting for another episode.
#3 Twilight Sparkle will say, "No I don't."
#4 The Cutie Mark Crusaders will most likley have an episode where they get their cutie marks.
#5 There are at least 2 songs.
#6 We will see more of Princess Cadence.
#7 Season 3 won't come out in August.
#8 The first episode will be announced 4 weeks ahead of time.
#9 In the toyline there is a fourth princess which is a unicorn that could be Cadence and Shining Armor's daughter.
#10 Lauren Faust has left the show entirely.
#11 Amy Keating Rogers, the writer who worked on such episodes as "The Best Night Ever" and "A Friend in Deed" has left the show to work on Care Bears.
#12 This guy right here is a possible Season 3 character.

Season 3 will probably have more than 13 episodes.

As far as I know, they confirmed 13 episodes. Which means that's what they got in line so far. When they begin to reveal those 13, they might make 13 more.

Actually, it has 13 episodes confirmed by one animation studio and the show uses two animation studios to get the show out to us faster. So it can be assumed that there will be 26 if the work load is split evenly.

Season Three will have an episode showing a day in the busy life of Mayor Mare!

OK, that's unconfirmed, but would be an awesome idea.

If we are giving requests, I want a Scootaloo episode. Cause otherwise she is kind of an utter failure of a character.

We for-sure need a Scootaloo episode!

Lauren Faust one time discussed a lost episode she wanted to do, but Hasbro turned it down. I kid you not, but there was going to be a Big Machintosh episode! It was going to be about the Apple Family taking advantage of Big Mac by telling him to do a lot of favors for them. Big Mac felt used and unappreciated and left to be a helping-hand in town.

Seriously Hasbro, why did you disapprove of this?!

While on the subject of the 13 confirmed episodes if you take a good look at this image you'll see that the animation is shown to have an ETA for completion on August 10, 2012.
Therefore we should be getting Season 3 very soon as the initial 24 confirmed Season 2 episodes were completed in December yet it aired in September.

Is scootaloo a she? Most likely but technically not confirmed.

Hm, it MIGHT be something, but I have seen other fake images across the Internet. You know our brony artists are getting better by the day to rival even the show's artistic skills! The thing that has me going is Trixie. I have seen those simular poses on other ponies before, don't you agree? and that necklace she's wearing, I swear I have seen that thing before...

i cant be sure but i think the unicorn on that necklace is in season 1 episode 1 in the story at the start

That necklace reminds me of one of The Elements of Harmony. What I'm wondering about is why Sweet Apple Acres and Carousel Boutique are boarded up and look abandoned.
Two episode theories I have are a 9/11 episode where the ponies remember the day Luna was banished, and a drug PSA episode.

She was SO AWESOME! She's the reason MLP got this far!

Actually, the last episodes that she worked on were The Return of Harmony.

Season 2 was headed by Jayson Theissen or however you spell his name.

So, it's because of HIM that MLP got this far, but huge credits go to Lauren.

And Jayson's not leaving anytime soon!

The Unicorn in the Necklace is Trixie. Derrrr. Plus Lauren left at the beginning of Season 2. You can tell if you read the opening credits during the episodes.


I really hope the CMC do NOT get their Cutie Marks. Most in particular because I believe Scootaloo has contributed nothing at all and is entirely useless thus far. Like you could digitally remove her and rework it a bit and for the most part, she is totally unimportant to the show. Like she literally does nothing. You coulda given her part to Spike and it would have made no difference whatsoever.

Which is why we are ALL waiting for a Scootaloo episode. That way she can become a more likeable character.
