So, I thought the whole Microsoft tech support scam died. This morning, got a call from one on my cell phone since my home phone is gone. It gave me an idea based on videos I've seen, mostly from AmpDan1 on YouTube. I'm going to have a Windows XP Professional SP3 virtual machine in VirtualBox and fill it with some of the worst viruses. Idea is that I can change the target directory for the shortcuts of IE, Firefox and Chrome so that they can open the viruses. Got one so far, the infamous Gruel virus, now for the Fagot worm, which destroys your partition table. It also removes ntoskrnl, making the PC unable to boot into Windows.

Hmm never got one of those calls before.

Fact that they are trying to make people pay $300 for their services and products that don't work is really fucking evil to people who aren't tech savvy. They claim that they know everything, even what your PC has, yet they don't know about viruses such a CIH only working on Windows 9x computers and Sasser only working on NT-based OSs such as Windows XP, 2000 and 7. That and when you make them look like idiots, they get pissed and cuss you out XD. It's gonna be funny when they call me and get a load of Gruel and Fagot. Ain't no scammer gonna break my Wheatley, the PC I built.

Well, should have named it GLaDOS after Windows 7 finished installing but, that name went to my laptop because I read a shit creepypasta about a laptop named GLaDOS. Should have named this desktop GLaDOS and the laptop Wheatley. As for the scammers, its sick how they trick people and ruin their PCs because they have been "hacked" and "have viruses", which in reality, that's a crock of shit. In fact, Malwarebytes has an entire page about this and even has a section that highlights what kind of tricks they use so that they can make you believe that your PC is on its last legs of living.

If they get the Fagot and Gruel virus on their PCs, that's just karma biting them in the ass. They could say that I'm in trouble for baiting a virtual machine, but they got themselves in a heap of trouble for doing this to people who aren't that savvy with technology.

Lol I guess that's as good of reason as any to name your laptop that  . 

But yeah it's sad when you hear about people getting caught up in that mess and are completely helpless. 
Definitely if they bait you they're in for a problem it looks like lol.
